Joshua L. Updike
Established in 2018, Updike Creative LLC is the design consulting home of Joshua L. Updike, a multi-Thea Award-winning creative professional. A past member of the Themed Entertainment Association’s International Board of Directors, Josh has over 25 years of experience in themed entertainment design and out-of-home experience development.
Prior to establishing Updike Creative, Josh founded Rethink Attractions, where as Executive Show Producer he oversaw the design of several notable projects. These included the award-winning Motiongate Dubai theme park, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and portions of the Wanda Wuhan Movie Culture Park. Josh also served as Chief Creative Officer of Rethink Leisure & Entertainment, where he was responsible for championing the company’s global creative output from concept to creation.
Throughout his career, Josh has provided creative and design services to a multitude of companies, both in-house and as a consultant. Past clients include Walt Disney Imagineering; Universal Creative; The Cancilier Studio Inc.; Landmark Entertainment Group; Walt Disney World Company; Major League Baseball; and the National Football League.
